is a lot of confusion between "Wekiwa"
and "Wekiva"
so here's the explaination. The words are both from the Creek Indian
language and "Wekiwa"
mean "bubbling water" and "Wekiva"
means "flowing water". So when
you talk about the spring it's "Wekiwa
Springs" and when you talk about the river it's
"Wekiva River".
